HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 - Amesbury

We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 driver's for ad-hoc work at our busy chilled distribution site based in Amesbury (Wiltshire). The role consists of refrigerated trunking and multi drop deliveries . Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shift available:

• AM and PM shifts available, must be able to work anyday between Thursday to Monday.

Day pay rates:

• Monday Friday GBP15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs GBP17.85)
• Saturday GBP17.85
• Sunday and Bank Holidays GBP23.80

Nights pay rates:

• Monday Friday GBP18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs GBP20.39)
• Saturday GBP20.39
• Sunday and Bank Holidays GBP27.19

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for:

• In date DIGI and CPC card
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
• Minimum of 6 months Class one experience required
• No more than 3 points on your licence

Your role:

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
