About the Role:

In this dynamic role, you will provide essential classroom support to the class teacher and pupils, ensuring that students are engaged, encouraged, and progressing effectively. Whether supporting learning activities, managing behaviour, or offering emotional reassurance, your presence will help shape a thriving classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers with lesson preparation and resource management
• Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to aid pupils understanding
• Assist in managing pupil behaviour and promoting positive interactions
• Help track student progress and communicate feedback to staff
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Work collaboratively with staff to meet the needs of all learners

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
• A genuine interest in education and child development
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability and a proactive mindset
• A flexible and proactive approach to supporting varied classroom needs.
• Have an updated CV ( covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps ) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
