About Our Client

Our client is a global automated materials handling provider at the forefront of innovative logistics solutions. They are currently seeking a talented Junior Project Engineer to join their growing team.

Role Overview

As a Junior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of customer proposals from initial concept through to final presentation. You'll work alongside experienced professionals to develop integrated solutions incorporating standard, non-standard, and third-party products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract Strategy

• Participate in quotation processes and delivery milestone planning
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders during solution development

• Contribute to the generation of ideas, concepts, and schemes
• Develop designs within defined project scope and technical specifications
• Take ownership of sub-elements of the design process

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD proposal drawings
• Prepare site plans, elevations, and cross sections
• Develop supplier relationships to enhance design development
• Support application engineering team in costing proposals

Requirements

Essential

• Engineering degree (2:1 or higher preferred)
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D
• Competent with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective time management and planning abilities
• Team player with self-motivation
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
