Excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Quantity Surveyor working for a Civil Engineering Contractor based near Brighton My client is a successful contractor working in the civil engineering My client would ideally be interested in candidates with a civils background and NEC contract experience Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor * Administration of NEC3 contracts * Preparation and issue documentation to the supply chain and clients * Attend project meetings * Monitor change control * Liaise with the planner * Pre, during and post contract liaison * Supply chain negotiation * Manage variations * monthly valuations * final accounts * Preparation of project tenders * Client relationships Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor * Ideally you will have expereince in th water sector * Alternatively you will have a civils background and NEC contract experience * BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying, with a minimum of 3 years' experience an NEC contract environment; * Experience of both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract work; * knowledge of NEC 3 main and subcontract contract forms On offer is a highly competitive salary, car allowance and benefit package as well as a very good career opportunity with excellent development opportunities.
