Assistant / Trainee Estimator

Clearfield Recruitment have partnered with a trusted name in the roofing industry. We are looking for a motivated Assistant / Trainee Estimator to join their team in Wymondham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior estimating experience to develop their skills in a specialist sector, with full training provided. As an Assistant / Trainee Estimator, you will support the estimating team in preparing accurate cost estimates and tenders for a variety of roofing projects. While roofing experience is advantageous, it is not essential as comprehensive training is provided to help you succeed. Key Responsibilities of this role to include; * Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions * Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and contract documents * Sourcing and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors * Supporting site visits and project assessments as required * Helping to identify cost-saving and value engineering opportunities The ideal applicant will possess; * Previous estimating experience (essential) * Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail * Excellent communication and organisational abilities * A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude * Competency in Microsoft Office and estimating software (training provided) The successful applicant can expect to receive; * Competitive salary (£20,000 - £30,000 DOE) * Full training and development within a supportive team * Career progression opportunities within the company * A professional and collaborative working environment If this opportunity is of interest, and you have the desired skills and experience then apply now
