Test Technician

We are sourcing a Test Technician for a medical device client in Limerick. This role is site-based and the primary function will be to assist in the testing and prototyping of medical device products in the R&D team. Responsibilities: * Carry out any steps required for the build and testing of high-quality medical device products. * Adherence to company Quality system procedures and all associated documentation which is provided to employees in order to assist them in the build and testing of high-quality products. * Responsible for the completion of training in relation to the build and testing of product. * Responsible for inventory management for designated R&D projects. * Handling/preparing drug coated devices in a laboratory environment as necessary. * Ensure that a high standard of GMP and housekeeping is maintained at all times. * Support problem solving and root cause analysis teams when required. * Highlight any potential issues to team leaders/Supervisors. * Provide flexibility in working on any other tasks that may arise during the course of a normal day in a Test and Prototype build environment. * May perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Requirements: * Experience in a test and production environment preferred. * Previous experience in coating/assembly/stent loading/packaging process steps, while not essential, is advantageous. * Previous experience in medical devices/pharmaceutical manufacturing is advantageous. * Good communication and inter-personal skills. * High self-motivation.
