About the Role We are looking for a Transmission Manager to drive the development and approval of products within the Transmission sector. This role is perfect for someone with hands-on industry experience, such as a Transmission Linesman, Supervisor, Project Manager, or Trainer who has the communication skills to use your expertise in a customer facing position. You’ll work closely with the Product Development & Innovation team to bridge industry experience with cutting-edge engineering. Key Responsibilities: • Engage with key stakeholders in the Transmission sector, including National Grid. • Drive product approvals and compliance within the industry. • Identify and develop new business opportunities with a highly consultative approach. • Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations. • Negotiate contracts, prepare tenders, and develop sales proposals. • Provide both pre-sales and post-sales support. • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings. • Ensure sales targets are consistently met. • Assist in the development of sales literature and marketing materials. What you'll need • Previous experience in the Transmission industry, ideally in roles such as Linesman, Supervisor, Project Manager, or Trainer. • Strong industry connections within National Grid and the wider Transmission sector. • Deep understanding of utility industry standards and compliance. • Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. • Full UK driving license.
