Production Planner

Staffpower Group are recruiting for a Production Planner for our client based in Gateshead. The role will be to support the Production Department by co-ordinating production workflow, ensuring that manufactured goods are produced in a cost-effective way which meets quality specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Planning of production jobs for the three production processes using Tharstern ERP system.
• Ensuring work to lists are distributed to Production departments.
• Organisation of Job Sheets for digital roll printing.
• Daily communication of plan attainment to Production and Commercial teams.
• Dealing with changes in the production plan for production issues and short lead time orders.
• Ordering of raw materials for production jobs.
• Communicating with suppliers on material forecasts and issues.

Other duties

• Ensure the production and distribution of products runs smoothly.
• Improve Company's production and distribution processes.

Hours Monday to Thursday 0745 to 1615 and Friday 0745 to 1345 (these can be flexible)
