Electrical Commissioning Engineer Northumberland, United Kingdom Salary: £40,000-£60,000 DOE Jackson Hogg in delighted to be working with a leading offshore subsea engineering business, which delivers offshore equipment to oil&gas industries. They are currently undergoing expansion and looking for capable engineers to join their progressive team. This is a permanent, hybrid role with offshore travelling. Electrical Commissioning Engineer Key Responsibilities: * Lead the commissioning process for offshore equipment and systems, full lifecycle. * Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules. * Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for the successful integration and testing of complex equipment. * Conduct site inspections and testing to verify sub-systems. * Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and/or control technical issues that arise during the commissioning process, and during offshore trials. * Provide onsite, offshore and office based technical support and training to customers and end-users on the operation and maintenance of commissioned equipment. * Prepare detailed reports and documentation of commissioning activities, including test results, deviations, and corrective actions. * Collaborate with Project Owners to ensure commissioning milestones are achieved within project timelines and budget constraints. Electrical Commissioning Engineer Key Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering. * Proven experience in commissioning engineering, preferably in the offshore or marine industry. * Strong technical knowledge of offshore equipment and systems. * Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders. * Willingness to travel to offshore sites and customer locations as required.
