About the Role
We are seeking a Project Planner to join the energy division, supporting the project delivery team with the planning and coordination of a diverse project portfolio. This is a dynamic position suited to someone with experience in complex engineering environments who thrives on driving schedules, managing resources, and keeping multi-disciplinary teams aligned.

This role requires a working knowledge of project lifecycles and systems integration and offers the opportunity to contribute to transformative energy infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Develop and maintain detailed project and resource plans across a large portfolio.
Collaborate with Project Managers to monitor progress and report on project performance.
Support tendering activity by producing detailed bid programmes.
Liaise with on-site installation and commissioning teams to drive progress and ensure alignment with schedules.
Coordinate internal and external supply chains to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Provide regular updates to the Programme Management Team on progress, commercial metrics, and risks.

Skills & Experience Required
Strong experience in using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project to deliver complex engineering projects.
Solid understanding of NEC contracts and their application in planning.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Desirable:
Experience working on National Grid or major utility-scale electricity projects.
Background in earned value analysis and logistics coordination.
Exposure to procurement monitoring and subcontractor performance.
Familiarity with work planning/allocation techniques.
