Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer . This is a permanent position that starts immediately working for a large manufacturing company in Digbeth Birmingham.

Salary

The job pays up to GBP22 p/h for a basic week of 37 hrs, plus there is plenty of overtime available.

A full driving license is needed for this role as there is occasional travel between sites.

Job purpose:

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Inspecting machinery and equipment.
• Assisting in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
• Ability to read schematic diagrams
• Plc trained is useful
• Maintaining tools and equipment on the site.
• Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance work to 18th edition.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the building using contractors.
• Conducting and completing routine inspections and organising emergency repairs.
• Completing general and small building repairs on site.
• Basic plumbing, welding , carpentry experience is very useful.
• Liaising and supporting any contractors on site.
• Being on call and able to attend site in the event of an emergency.

Other

• Occasional driving between sites
• Experienced of drving forklifts, and or mobile elevated platforms very useful.
• Experienced of using an ERP system, excel and word very useful
• Part of the team that ensures the building is checked, opened and locked up correctly and securely

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Engineer Hours

• The hours of work are 7.00pm to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am to 12.00 pm on Friday.
• There is plenty of overtime available with this role.
