Responsibilities
Use management and leadership experience to work with other care home staff to ensure highest standards of care are delivered at all times.
Have an inclusive approach with residents, their families and other care staff to ensure all care objectives are met.
Support with the continuous development of junior staff.
Encourage a motivated working environment to ensure all staff feel supported in delivering best practice of care.
Support the Home Manager with operational functions of the home.
Support the Home Manager in ensuring NMC, SSSC and Care Inspectorate standards are met.

Requirements
Registered nurse with active NMC Pin
Unit Manager experience in a care home setting for older people
Strong management and leadership abilities
A passion for providing top quality care
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
Experience in supporting and developing junior staff
