Whether you're looking for ongoing temporary work, temp-to-perm, or a permanent position, we have flexible opportunities to suit you. 🛏️ About the Role: As a Senior Carer, you’ll play a pivotal role during the night shifts, ensuring residents receive exceptional care and comfort throughout the evening hours. You’ll be one of senior members of the night team, overseeing the smooth running of the home and ensuring that care plans are followed correctly. Your responsibilities will include: * Administering and overseeing medication runs (must be medication-trained and confident in administering medications). * Supporting and supervising a small team of care assistants. * Conducting regular checks on residents and ensuring their individual care plans are adhered to. * Supporting residents with any personal care, mobility or medical needs throughout the night. * Responding to emergencies and escalating any concerns to management. * Updating care documentation and handover reports accurately. 👤 Requirements: * Minimum 2 years experience working in care, ideally in a senior or team leader position. * Medication administration experience is essential. * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent preferred). * A kind, calm, and professional approach to delivering care. * Confidence in leading a team and supporting night operations. * Flexibility to work temporary or ongoing night shifts. * Ability to commit to a permanent role if interested (optional). 🏡 Why Join? * Work in a beautifully newly refurbished residential home with modern facilities. * Opportunity to go temp-to-perm if you're looking for a long-term career move. * Supportive team environment and approachable management. * Ongoing support and guidance from the Apex Recruit team. * Weekly pay (for temporary positions). * Flexible shift availability to suit your lifestyle.
