1:1 Teaching Assistant - Secondary Academy - Birmingham (B9) - Full-Time - From £90 Per Day PAYE Do you have a passion for supporting young people and helping them thrive in education? Long Term Futures is working with a secondary school in Bordesley to recruit a compassionate and proactive 1:1 Teaching Assistant. This role involves providing dedicated support to a student with additional needs, helping them feel confident, engaged, and included in their learning. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, resilient, and committed to making a meaningful impact in a supportive and inclusive school environment. Your Role: Offering 1:1 tailored support, ensuring the student is engaged, comfortable, and motivated Encouraging academic, emotional, and social development through structured activities Building trusting and positive relationships to boost confidence and learning progress Assisting with mobility needs and ensuring the student is fully included in all classroom activities Collaborating with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to maintain consistent support strategies What We're Looking For: Experience providing 1:1 support for students with additional needs - essential A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to learning support Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Experience supporting students with physical disabilities and attachment difficulties A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but experience and the right mindset matter most!
