Cut and Crease Assistant

Cut & Crease Assistants Leeds, LS11 3 On/3 Off, Days & Nights - 6am to 6pm/6pm to 6am £14.91 per hour, weekly pay and accrued holiday pay Our client operates a non-smoking/vaping site policy. This means that smoking/vaping is not permitted anywhere onsite, nor are staff permitted to leave site during a 12 hour shift. Concept Recruitment are working with our client in LS11 to recruit a number of Finishing Assistants on a temporary to permanent basis. Role Responsibilities: * Assisting the Machine Operator to fix machines and reduce downtime * Ensuring that products are not damaged and no errors have been made * Feeding the machine and ensuring the machine is running properly at all times * Checking the finished products to ensure they meet customer standards * Picking up pallets using an electric truck (full training given) * Cleaning machines * Working in a fast paced environment in a highly responsible role Suitable candidates will need: * Previous experience within a warehouse/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given * The ability to pick up new processes and procedures quickly and effectively * Strong communication skills * Able to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative You will be working on a 3 on 3 off 12 hour shift basis, days and nights on a set shift pattern.
