Setting Out Engineer We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Setting-Out Engineer to join our dynamic team in Slough. As a key member of our construction projects, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of projects. This is an opportunity to work & develop with the latest software. Key Responsibilities: * Setting Out: Accurately set out building lines, levels, and other construction features using the latest technology and equipment. * Data Collection: Collect and record accurate data for construction progress and quality control. * Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy of all setting out work and maintain quality standards throughout the project. * Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any setting out issues that may arise during construction. * Communication: Effectively communicate with site managers, engineers, and other stakeholders. * Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures. Essential Requirements: * Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer in the construction industry * Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications * Proficiency in the use of modern surveying equipment, including GPS, total stations, and laser levels * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills * Commitment to safety and quality Desirable Requirements: * Experience in using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software * Knowledge of relevant construction standards and regulations * Experience in working on large-scale construction projects Benefits: * Competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 * Opportunities for career progression and development * Friendly and supportive working environment * Company pension scheme If interested, please APPLY or call me James Grant at Hampshire Recruitment Group
