Are you a skilled Mechanical Technician looking for a role in a innovative facility that values its employees? A leading waste management and energy recovery site is seeking a dedicated professional to join their maintenance team.

About the Role

As a Mechanical Technician , you will play a key role in maintaining a state-of-the-art Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF), ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mechanical engineering systems that process non-recyclable waste to generate electricity.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems
• Supporting planned and unplanned shutdown activities
• Ensuring all maintenance activities meet safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Working alongside internal teams and external service providers
• Contributing to operational improvement projects

Who We're Looking For:

• NVQ Level 3 (preferred), HNC/HND, or equivalent experience in mechanical maintenance
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a complex operational environment (e.g., Power Generation, Industrial Process, Oil & Gas)
• Strong knowledge of furnace/boiler systems or rotating equipment is advantageous
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Ability to work as part of a 24/7 operational team, including participation in an on-call rota
