Job Title: Service Advisor Location: Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 OTE (On-Target Earnings) Our client in Melton Mowbray is seeking a dedicated and professional Service Advisor to join their busy Aftersales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor to further their career within the motor trade. Benefits: Excellent On-Target Earnings 22 days holiday, plus 8 specified bank holiday days Staff discount on products/services Ongoing training and development opportunities for the Service Advisor Clear career progression within the company Potential for a Company vehicleKey Responsibilities: The Service Advisor will act as the main point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for servicing and repairs Communicate with customers to explain the required work in a clear, professional manner as a trusted Service Advisor The Service Advisor will provide accurate estimates, manage collection arrangements, and advise on service timescales Maintain excellent customer service and ensure a smooth, efficient service process as a committed Service Advisor The Service Advisor is responsible for accurately completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle records Promote and upsell additional products and services when appropriate – a key part of a proactive Service Advisor role The Service Advisor will coordinate with technicians and the workshop to ensure jobs are completed on time As a professional Service Advisor, you will represent the brand to a high standard at all times The Service Advisor will ensure all customer concerns are resolved promptly and professionally Stay up to date with dealership and manufacturer updates to remain an informed Service Advisor A successful Service Advisor will contribute to the achievement of monthly team targets The Service Advisor must ensure compliance with all company and industry policies Assist in follow-up calls and reminders, showcasing excellent Service Advisor customer retention skills Provide backup and support to other Service Advisor team members during busy periods or absences The Service Advisor will play an essential role in maintaining a positive and welcoming front-of-house experienceMinimum Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role, such as Service Advisor, Service Admin, or another customer-facing position in the automotive industry A full UK driving licence is required Experience with Kerridge, Pinnacle, or 1Link systems preferredJob Details: Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: Monday to Friday Location: Melton Mowbray, LeicestershireIf you’re an experienced Service Advisor ready to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment, we want to hear from you!
