Contract Manager

I'm currently hiring for one of Ireland's leading contractors who are on the lookout for a Contracts Manager in the Dublin area. * Responsibility for delivering commercial performance on projects. * Be responsible for projects from Tender through to Completion. * Responsibility for health and safety excellence and promote the companies culture across projects. * Responsibility for environmental performance on projects. * Direct responsibility for leading and motivation of project teams. * Ensuring that the client requirements are being met on projects. * Responsibility for identification and minimisation of key risks and opportunities on projects. * Promote innovative and best practice construction methodologies on projects. * Be responsible for budgeting and cost control on projects. * Attend monthly and quarterly cost review meetings. * Attend regular management meetings. * Lead regular meeting with project teams, clients/customers and other key stakeholders. Who are we looking for? * Possess an Engineering or Construction Honours Degree. * A considerable amount of experience in the construction industry on large scale projects. * Be capable of managing a number of major projects concurrently. * Be committed to driving health and safety culture on projects. * Have proven track record in delivering excellent commercial results on projects. * Be capable of leading project teams to deliver to programme and budget. * Have tendering experience in major civil engineering projects. * Be driven and enthusiastic. * Have good technical knowledge of major civil engineering projects. * Have excellent contract awareness. * Possess good problem-solving skills. * Be an excellent communicator. * Contribute to the business development and establishment/maintaining of customer relationships.
