Senior Acoustic Consultant – Dublin Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 Start Date: Opportunities available to start immediately or in a few weeks Are you an experienced Acoustic Consultant looking for the next step in your career with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy? One of Ireland’s most respected independent environmental and engineering firms is seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their dynamic and growing team based in Dublin. With decades of expertise, this consultancy provides innovative and practical solutions across acoustics, air quality, environmental impact assessments, occupational health & safety, and planning support. Their client base includes both public and private sector organisations across infrastructure, construction, energy, and industrial sectors. The Role: As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you’ll play a key role in delivering and managing a variety of acoustic projects – from building and architectural acoustics to environmental noise assessments, noise modelling, monitoring, and impact studies. You’ll be responsible for leading client relationships, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to project strategy and business development. Key Responsibilities: Leading and managing acoustic assessments for planning, design, and compliance Undertaking noise and vibration monitoring, modelling, and analysis Preparing technical reports and providing expert advice to clients Liaising with project stakeholders including planners, architects, engineers, and regulators Supporting the mentoring and development of junior consultants Contributing to business development and client engagement activitiesAbout You: Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering or a related field Minimum of 4/5 years’ relevant consultancy experience Strong knowledge of environmental and building acoustics standards and regulations (e.g., BS 4142, BB93, etc.) Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., SoundPLAN, CadnaA, Odeon, etc.) Excellent report writing, project management, and client liaison skills IOA membership or working towards chartered status desirableWhat’s on Offer: Competitive salary package, commensurate with experience Hybrid working model (office in South Dublin) Support for professional development and further qualifications Opportunity to work on high-profile and technically challenging projects Collaborative team culture in an employee-owned firm Clear career progression pathway in a growing consultancyThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking consultancy that values quality, integrity, and sustainability.
