My client is seeking a Resource / Labour Manager ideally with experience of working with both directly employed and sub-contractor engineers. Duties will include: * Managing / Oversee the allocation and scheduling of labour resources across multiple projects, with a visual tracking sheet of labour assigned to sites. * Working with multiple project managers to help allocate labour and track how long they are needed and when they become free. * Notify labour of new projects/job with address details and onsite contacts. * Speaking and developing sub-contractor relationships & improved data base. * Validation sub-contractor accreditation and training records. * Assisting / owner the process of raising and approving sub-contractor purchase orders. * Monitor labour capacity, highlighting pinch points or areas of excess labour. * Analyse project requirements and develop a staffing plan to ensure labour requirements are met and managed. * Anticipate resource needs and make adjustments based on project progress and scope changes. * Assist the Project Managers to track labour costs to ensure that they stay within the budget for each project.
