Job Title: Management Accountant Location: Paisley (Hybrid Working Available) Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Standard Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a dynamic Public Estates Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to provide financial support to the contract/profit centre management team and ensure that internal and external accounting and reporting requirements are met. Key Responsibilities: Producing monthly management accounts and preparing periodic budgets and forecasts. Completing audit packs to assist in the interim/annual audit process. Producing and reporting cash flow forecasts. Reporting on and explaining variances to profit centre managers. Supporting operational management with quality financial information and assisting in delivering improved results through effective control and process challenges. What We’re Looking For: Part or fully qualified (or QBE) in Accounting. Proven experience in management accounts and financial reporting. Ability to meet tight deadlines with a high level of quality and understanding. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in SAP and Excel (VLOOKUP essential). Good knowledge of accounting practices, statutory regulations, and forecasting. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders. A proactive and organised approach to gathering information in a timely manner. The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
