Facilities Manager- Edinburgh Area FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager on behalf of a leading client in the Edinburgh area. This is a key role responsible for overseeing a large static site with an in house maintenance team. Key Responsibilities: * Manage day-to-day facilities operations across multiple sites * Lead and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, focusing on electrical safety and statutory compliance * Oversee contractors, service providers, and internal teams to ensure service excellence * Monitor building systems (HVAC, fire safety, lighting, security) and ensure statutory inspections are completed * Control budgets and ensure cost-effective service delivery * Drive health & safety compliance through audits, risk assessments, and policy implementation * Act as the key point of contact for all facilities-related matters Requirements: * Proven experience in a Facilities Management role, ideally in a multi-site or client-facing setting * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) – Essential * Strong understanding of electrical systems and FM compliance standards * Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary and full benefits package * Training and career development opportunities Ready to take the next step in your FM career?
