Forklift Driver / Yard operative

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Forklift Driver / Yard operative for a an established client in the Langar (NG13) area of Nottingham. About the client: This global brand looking to expand their friendly team at their site in Langar.  Pay & Benefits for you: · £12.21 - £13.00 per hour (Overtime at a premium rate)  · Stable day shift (08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday)  · Weekly pay whilst with the agency · Free on-site parking provided Duties include: · Loading and unloading of goods with a forklift truck or driving machines  · Check in all goods received for quantity, damage and serial numbers · Keeping the yard tidy · Inventory Management – Complete required documentation for all inbound and outbound movements of machines and components. - Jet washing and preparation of machines · On the job training given What we need from you: · Live locally to Langar or have access to your own transport · FLT licences preferable · Available to do a stable day shift (and overtime where required to ensure orders are dispatched on time) · Have work experience in a similar role · Wanting temporary ongoing work that could lead to a permanent position for the right person · Able to start assignment as soon as possible · Willingness to learn on the job and not be afraid to ask questions if unsure on anything · Be physically fit as this role is very repetitive and will require a large amount of manual handling Sound like the job for you?
