Sheet Metal Worker Bradford This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who has worked within sheet metal as a press brake, laser, punch or press operator, who is looking for an opportunity to become a fully skilled sheet metal worker. You will be responsible for producing fabricated assemblies to customer orders from galvanised steel. As the Sheet Metal worker, you will: Manufacture items from galvanised steel of 0.8mm to 2mm in thickness Work with machinery including Coil-Line, CNC Plasma Cutter, CNC Brake Press, Hydroform folder, Metal Punch, Lockformer, Snaplock Punch & MIG-Welders. Learn to undertake welding, fabrication, press brake areas and general build and assembly processes Read and work to technical drawings Produce high quality fabrications whilst working to production deadlines Adhere to all health and safety procedures and processes As the Sheet metal worker, you will have: Experience of working within Sheet Metal Confident experience of working on press brake, guillotines, plasma cutters and punch machines Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail The ability to work under pressure A hardworking attitude, be reliable with excellent timekeeping The company are growing and looking to expand their team.
