Logistics Team Leader

Logistics Team Leader – Permanent (Days) West Bromwich £14 per hour (depending on experience) 39 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm, Friday 8am – 4pm We’re looking for an experienced Logistics Team Leader to join a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will see you lead a team responsible for pick, pack, and dispatch operations while driving continuous improvement across the warehouse. What You’ll Be Doing: • Supervising and leading a team to ensure consistent, high-quality performance across pick, pack, and dispatch activities • Setting and maintaining best practices, driving accountability, and ensuring the team meets key performance targets • Identifying and implementing new processes to improve efficiency and reduce customer complaints • Ensuring training is delivered and that performance is monitored through regular reviews • Supporting the development of operational procedures to improve performance and drive lean practices • Enforcing health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments, and contributing to a positive, safe working environment • Overseeing warehouse housekeeping and maintaining accurate inventory levels What You’ll Need: • Experience in a similar logistics or warehouse leadership role • Ability to motivate, train, and manage a team effectively • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities • A proactive, flexible approach to problem-solving and process improvement • A solid understanding of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting • FLT license required What’s in It for You: • 25 days annual leave + festive shutdown • Bonus scheme & company pension • Life assurance (4x salary) • Discounted gym membership & cycle to work scheme • Employee assistance programme & free flu jabs • Ongoing training and development opportunities • Free onsite parking & home cyber security training Ready to take the next step in your logistics career?
