Maintenance Fitter

Maintenance Fitter Location: Staines (Stanwell Moor) Type: Temp to Perm Hours: Full-time, 55hrs per week, £15 - £20 p/h DOE We’re hiring a Maintenance Fitter for a well-established recycling company that's serious about sustainability and running a top-tier operation. This is a hands-on, fast-moving role where you’ll be key to keeping a modern plant running at its best. If you know your way around machinery and thrive in a busy, team-driven environment—this one's for you. What you’ll be doing: * Keeping plant equipment in top shape and ready to go * Diagnosing and fixing breakdowns quickly * Sticking to maintenance schedules (PPM) * Supporting new installs and refurb projects * Working with internal teams and contractors * Following health & safety standards every step of the way What we’re looking for: * Solid experience in mechanical maintenance * Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Comfortable with planned and reactive maintenance * Ideally, experience in recycling or heavy industry * Relevant trade qualification (a bonus, not a dealbreaker) What’s on offer: * Competitive pay * Long-term, stable role * Supportive team and opportunities to grow * A role with purpose in a green industry Sound like you?
