Electrical Engineer Rosslare Europort Our client is a €500m turnover, multi-disciplined main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake large turnkey projects for blue-chip clientele, in Europe the focus is on Data Centres and similar tech-focussed projects. In Ireland they operate as more of a generalist main contractor working across a variety of industry sectors including healthcare / hospitals, residential, education and industrial Due to a recent project win, our client is now seeking an Electrical Engineer in Rosslare. Responsibilities Design and Upgrade Electrical Systems: Develop and implement electrical designs for port facilities, including power generation, distribution systems, and terminal operations, ensuring compliance with national and international standards. Collaborate on Port Infrastructure Planning: Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to plan and design improvements to port infrastructure, such as terminals and quay facilities, integrating electrical systems seamlessly into the overall development. Conduct Environmental and Safety Assessments: Perform assessments to ensure that electrical installations meet environmental regulations and safety standards, contributing to sustainable and secure port operations. Manage Project Implementation and Compliance: Oversee the construction and installation phases of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, budgets, and timelines, while maintaining compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Provide Technical Support and Maintenance Planning: Offer ongoing technical support for electrical systems, develop maintenance strategies, and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous and reliable port operations. Requirements Must have minimum of 3+ Years experience in a similar role Must have experience on similar projects Benefits €70,000-€90,000 per annum + Benefits
