Your role will include:
Taking ownership of the electrical engineering aspects of projects, ensuring safety, scope and technical delivery are aligned
Acting as a point of contact with customers, supporting scope reviews, risk identification, and feedback loops
Supporting the design, specification, and procurement of control panels, MCCs, PLC and field equipment
Overseeing subcontractor design delivery and contributing to H&S and CE/UKCA documentation
Carrying out project inspections and FATs
What you'll need:
A HNC (or degree) in Electrical or Controls Engineering
Experience delivering detailed electrical designs in industrial environments; bonus if you ve worked with bulk materials handling systems
Familiarity with current wiring regulations, CE/UKCA compliance, and design risk assessments
A desire to take ownership and step confidently into a leadership-level position
Travel and team structure:
Project-dependent travel may be required: typically 1 to 4 weeks spread across the year
No direct line management responsibilities, but you ll coordinate and oversee contractors on assignments
