CNC Laser Operator

Excellent opportunity to join a specialist, very established and highly reputable employer as they seek to recruit an additional CNC Laser Operator to join their team on a full time permanent basis This is a superb opportunity to work within an excellent employer who are able to offer a great working environment and long term security and stability. My client are currently operating a four day working week- 37.5 hours per week! Overtime is also available on Fridays during busy periods at 1.5 x time.

CNC Laser Operator

Full Time permanent role

Mon - Wed (Apply online only) and Thu (Apply online only). Overtime available at 1.5 x time during busy periods on Fridays.

Burgess Hill. Free parking on site and nearby. My client are based around 15/20 minute walk from the nearest station.

Salary: GBP25350-GBP31200 per year (GBP13-GBP16 per hour) depending on experience plus good company benefits

Duties and responsibilities:

Setting and operating Trumpf Fiber Laser with Siemens control.

Loading / Unloading Laser with raw materials (Automation and Forklift Driving).

1st off Inspection of cut components to engineering drawings.

Quality control of ongoing production - to ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Preparing and packing parts for despatching.

Weekly preventative maintenance of Laser.

Working as part of a busy team.

Competencies, skills and experience required:

CNC Setting/Operating preferred but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate, this will include training off site and in-house.

Engineering background preferred with qualified training.

Electric Counter-balance forklift licence - this is not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate.
