Cook in Charge

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Cook in Charge to join Rotherham Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This role is working 20 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen and catering team * Prepare, cook and serve meals in line with approved menus and portion guidelines * Maintain food hygiene and health & safety standards * Monitor stock control and manage food budgets * Keep accurate records of supplies, temperatures, and cleaning schedules * Provide training and support to kitchen staff What You’ll Need: * Level 2 Food Safety qualification * NVQ Level 2 or equivalent catering qualification * Experience in large-scale catering and supervising staff If this role would be of interest, please apply with an up to date CV ASAP
