JOB TITLE Early Years Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Manchester) ABOUT THE ROLE Prospero Teaching are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in a lovely and supportive Primary School based in Manchester. The role is to start after Easter and is expected to be long-term and full-time, continuing for the rest of the academic year, with potential to extend beyond. The successful candidate will be supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), both in small groups and 1:1. You will need a solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum, be confident in using phonics, and show a nurturing and proactive approach to classroom support. CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS Location Manchester Position Early Years Teaching Assistant Type of work Full class support / 1:1 support Start date After Easter (April 2025) Duration / Likely Duration Until July 2025 (with potential extension) Contract type Long Term Full time/part time Full Time Minimum rate of pay GBP95+ per day Hours 8:30am 3:30pm, Monday to Friday EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Essential Experience working in an EYFS setting in the UK Required Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and phonics Up to date Safeguarding training (can be provided) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one) Provide two professional references OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with an up-to-date CV.
