Your Role as a Mental Health Support Worker: Support KS3 and KS4 students with mental health and emotional well-being challenges. Provide 1:1 support for students with SEND or SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. Assist in personalized progress plans designed to help each student thrive. Collaborate with teachers to create a positive, safe learning environment. Build trusting, meaningful relationships with both students and staff, becoming a pillar of support in their school community. Be there when students need someone to talk to, offering empathy, understanding, and guidance. Requirements: A deep passion for mental health and supporting young people (no prior experience required). Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
