Senior Warehouse Operative  Bury St Edmunds Permanent  £27,000 - £29,000  We are currently looking for an experienced and self-motivated Senior Warehouse Operative to join our client on a permanent basis in Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working within a hands on warehouse role overseeing and motivating a small team to ensure the smooth movement of goods. Due to the location and nature of this role, a driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.    The working hours for his role are Monday to Friday 08:00-17:30. Duties and Responsibilities:  Motivate a small team within a busy warehouse/logistics environment Assist with the smooth movements of goods within the warehouse Oversee all inbound/outbound warehouse operations  Maintain inventory and complete regular stock checks  Picking and packing of goods Unloading deliveries and locating them in the warehouse Support the Warehouse Manager in daily operations and overall warehouse management Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures Preparing goods for dispatch Assist with the onboarding and training of new starters Input data onto the inhouse database Solving stock/logistics issues and discrepancies     Skills and Experience:  Previous experience of working within a warehouse/logistics environment Confident in planning and meeting deadlines Previous forklift experience would be an advantage Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Good communication skills, both written and verbal A proactive, hands on approach with a focus on achieving the daily and long term company goals Good understanding of customers deliverables and the impact of failing to deliver/meet deadlines      If you are interested in this role please apply with an up to date CV or for more information call Alice or Charlotte on (phone number removed)
