Warehouse Operative

Pertemps are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a leading Steel Distributor based in Wednesbury. If you have excellent attention to detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in accuracy, we want to hear from you! Key Duties: Picking steel products from inventory based on orders. Accurately packing products for dispatch, ensuring items are securely packaged. Labelling and preparing goods for delivery. Ensuring orders are correct and meet quality standards. Assisting with stock control and inventory management when required.What we’re looking for: Previous experience in a picking and packing role is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure. Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items. Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.  Working hours: Monday to Thursday 10:00 - 19:30, and Friday 09:30 - 19:00. Hourly rate of £12.21 per hour. This is an ongoing temporary role with the potential to become permanent after a successful trial period.
