Job Opportunity: Estates Surveyor - Manchester City Centre An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Estates Surveyor to join a well-established property company based in Manchester City Centre. This role offers the chance to work with a reputable commercial investment group, overseeing a diverse portfolio of properties across the UK. About the Company: Our client is a leading commercial property group, managing a portfolio worth over £290 million across various commercial and residential assets nationwide. The company is known for its proactive, experienced team, committed to delivering top-tier property management services and maintaining strong relationships with occupier clients. Role Overview: As an Estates Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing a mixed-use property portfolio. You will be responsible for day-to-day property management, implementing income-enhancing strategies, and fostering strong relationships with both clients and contractors. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the income from a varied property portfolio across the UK. Develop and maintain positive relationships with occupiers, ensuring confidentiality and trust. Collaborate with the accounts team on annual service charge budgets, reconciliations, and rent reports. Work closely with building managers and contractors to manage ongoing maintenance and repairs. Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities in partnership with clients and third parties. Manage rent collections, service charge budgets, and all aspects of landlord-tenant relations. Conduct regular property inspections and manage a small team of building managers. Provide support to senior management with additional tasks as required. What We're Looking For: Degree educated with MRICS qualification (or working towards) Strong commercial property management experience. A proactive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service. Knowledge of basic property accounting principles. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary of upto £45,000 per annum. Performance-related bonus opportunities.
