Site Manager – £45M Student Accommodation Scheme – Tottenham, North London Location: Tottenham, North London Project Value: £45M Start Date: June 2025 Sector: Purpose-Built Student Accommodation Type: Permanent A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to play a key role on an exciting new £45M student accommodation project in Tottenham, North London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor on a large-scale new build from day one, with full site involvement from initial setup through to handover. The Project: * New build 7-storey student accommodation development * Approximately 300 self-contained units * Traditional brick façade * Located in a busy, high-profile area with strong logistical requirements The Role: As Site Manager, you will: * Lead and manage all on-site activities * Oversee site setup, logistics, and programme delivery * Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and site safety * Report directly to the Project Manager * Ensure works are delivered to programme, quality, and safety standards * Manage site documentation and maintain H&S compliance Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale new build schemes (£20M+) * Strong understanding of RC frame, brickwork façades, and fit-out coordination * Ability to lead site teams and coordinate multiple trades * Excellent knowledge of construction programming and logistics * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications essential * Strong leadership and communication skills
