Exam Invigilators Required - Blackburn & Darwen

Are you looking for flexible, part-time work in schools across Blackburn and Darwen? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking Exam Invigilators to supervise students during exams in local secondary schools.

We are looking for candidates with excellent communication and organisational skills who can help ensure that students are properly supported during their GCSE exams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow instructions provided by the exam manager.

• Ensure students are seated according to exam regulations.

• Supervise the examination process to ensure all students follow exam rules.

• Safeguard the security of exam papers and materials.

• Record attendance and manage any late arrivals.

• Maintain supervision of candidates throughout the exam.

• Safely collect and store completed exam papers and materials.

• Ensure candidates leave the exam room quietly and in an orderly manner.

This role will start after Easter and continue until the end of June. The pay rate for this position is 13.68 - 14.68 per hour.

• Previous experience working in a school is preferred.

• Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
