Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV CLASS 1 truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods across various locations. This role requires proficiency in driving flatbed lorries and a solid understanding of commercial driving regulations. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing techniques are employed to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any issues or delays to management promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road, promoting a culture of safety.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any client concerns professionally.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driving licence (CE licence)
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
