Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Commercial Manager role

Reporting to the Senior Management team you will:

• Ensure all commercial processes are established, implemented, and adhered to
• Contribute to business growth improvements
• Draft and develop robust commercial documentation, in collaboration with Legal, to safeguard company interests and capitalise on opportunities
• Ensure contractual obligations are maintained
• Effectively communicate contract terms to internal and external stakeholders with a focus on financials
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Participate in pre-contract negotiations and agreements
• Engage in bid processes to identify and manage commercial risks
• Provide training and mentoring within the Commercial Team

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (related subjects also apply)
• Proven track record in commercial or contract management roles, especially managing large, multi-million-pound contracts with a strong foundation in corporate finance, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Deep understanding of contract law and industry regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
• Solid leadership experience, with a focus on team development and performance
