Financial Accountant - Interim | Skipton (Hybrid)

We're seeking a proactive Financial Accountant with strong Statutory Accounts experience. This interim role (6-9 months) has strong potential to become permanent.

Start: ASAP - with a full handover before end of July
Location: Skipton (1 day on-site, Wednesdays)
Duration: 6 -9 months
IR35: Inside via Umbrella
Day Rate: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Statutory Accounts and Regulatory Returns processes

• Manage monthly, half-year, and year-end financial & regulatory reporting

• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations

• Deliver aspects of P&L, management accounting, forecasting (short & 5-year), and Board reporting

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified ACCA (or equivalent)

• Strong technical accounting knowledge (including IFRS)

• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills

• Confident producing accurate reporting to tight deadlines

• Experienced in both financial & management reporting at executive level
