Summary of Project
This project focuses on the maintenance, assembly, and installation of critical components for MIV (Main Inlet Valve), turbines, and generators. As a Mechanical Fitter/Rigger, you'll be responsible for essential mechanical duties and supporting rigging operations using certified techniques, playing a key role in maintaining safety and efficiency across the site.
Person Specification
You are a self-motivated and skilled mechanical fitter with strong rigging experience, qualified to ECITB Level 2 or Level 3 standards. You bring practical knowledge of using mechanical tools such as hydraulic tensioners, torque tools, and abrasive wheels. Comfortable working with technical drawings and operating in safety-critical environments, you contribute to lifting operations and machinery installation with care and precision. Your understanding of UK safety regulations ensures you work effectively within a team and maintain the highest safety standards on site.
