• Supervise students in the absence of a teacher
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and support students in their learning
• Assist with classroom activities and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour

• Confidence in managing groups of students
• Empathy towards the needs of students
• Positivity and enthusiasm for education

A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable

• Ability to engage and motivate students
• Flexibility to adapt to different classroom situations
• Quick thinking and problem-solving skills

This role involves working in a school environment, following the school timetable and supporting various subject areas as required. On many occasions the school have offered our Graduate Cover Supervisors a permanent role, along with Teacher training!
