HGV Technician

Role Description

HGV Technician required to work in a busy Trailer/HGV workshop, previous experience is essential.

Duties:

Work to include carrying out service and maintenance of trailers, HGV's and LCV's

Required Certification & Experience:
Must be conversant with current working methods, including MOT Preparation & Trailer and Vehicle diagnostics.
Experience with DAF vehicles would be beneficial as would a sound knowledge of LCV Maintenance and Repair procedures.
Experience of on-site inspections and attending breakdowns preferable.
HGV 1 licence is preferable but not essential.
City and Guilds / NVQ L3 in HGV Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or Time served Technician.

Hours are Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18.00 with alternate Saturday 07.00 - 12.00 paid as 1.5x overtime rate.

Salary: 39,250+
