Quantity Surveyor - Drylining Contractor – North London About the role: Since been incorporated 30 years ago and with a turnover in the region of £30m, our client has specialised in a range of services including Drylining, Partitions, Screeding, SFS framing and External Rendering. Having worked mainly in the commercial and residential sector on over 200 projects for house builders, are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The Role & Requirements: * Exciting job opportunity for an ambitious, diligent and hard-working Quantity Surveyor. * You will be part of a team supporting our business growth whilst developing your own skills providing professional advice to clients within our environment. * It is important for the successful candidate to have a team ethic as well as a competent ability to work independently. * We welcome a network of contacts the candidate may have and will strive to develop these relationships. * We can offer the new team member with an aptitude for learning, and desire to take ownership of projects from inception to completion whilst monitoring and managing risks associated with the projects undertaken. * Provide monthly cost-value reconciliations & report any movements in the forecast final accounts. * Must be a reliable and trustworthy person who has proven experience of performing in our ever-changing & challenging industry. * Have a Measurement as well as a Surveying background to possess the ability to negotiate, secure tenders through to completion. * Ideal candidate will be office based and requires a drylining subcontractor experience. * Knowledge of Drylining Installations from Siniat to British Gypsum * Knowledge of computer packages such as On Screen Take Off and Chalk String to name a few. * Strong references required. * Excellent communication skills. * Solid commercial acumen. * Welcome educated to a degree level or equivalent, but not essential. * Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
