Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Crawley – Senior Electrical Design Engineer Platform has partnered with a leading Clean Energy company that are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in developing the electrical and power electronic systems that drive their cutting-edge products! £65K-£73K Main Duties: * Design electrical networks for grid-connected systems (AC/DC configurations) * Create electrical architecture diagrams and wiring schematics * Assist in the creation of electrolyzer and fuel cell stack designs. * Oversee and maintain electrical design materials and documentation and communicate with key stakeholders * Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant standards - IEEE, IEC, NFPA etc. * Assist with system installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical components Skills and Experience Required: * Qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related field. * AC/DC distribution experience * Power system design experience - cable sizing, protection device selection, and with control systems – PLC’s * Proficient in power system design systems (ETAP, EPLAN, MATLAB). * Experience with British and international regulations and standards * Have worked within R&D and prototype development environments. * Experience with MW Scale systems desired Salary/Location: * The salary is circa £65K-£73K depending on experience * This role is based in and around Crawley If you feel like you have the right skills and experience, then please apply with a copy of your updated CV and we will be in touch with more details
