About the job: Business Development Manager My client is a trusted provider of qualified labour to the civils, highways, and construction industries. They are seeking a hungry, driven and professional Business Development Manager who will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to developing new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and driving growth for the company. Business Development Manager – Experience: * At least 6 years in experience in the rail, engineering, or construction industries * Strong sales and negotiation skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Experience in business development and client relationship management * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to achieve expected KPIs Business Development Manager - What They Offer: * Competitive salary of up to £45,000 * Family run company, who will treat you as one of their own! * Commission and bonus structure * Company Pension * Free parking What a day to day as a Business Development Manager will look like: * Develop and implement a business development strategy aligned with company goals. * Identify and secure new opportunities within the construction sectors. * Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners. * Lead the end-to-end sales process: lead generation, proposal development, presentations, and deal closure. * Prepare commercial documents including proposals, tenders, and contracts. * Track KPIs and provide regular performance and pipeline reports to senior management. * Attend trade shows, site meetings, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility. * Collaborate with internal teams (sales, resourcing, marketing, operations) to ensure aligned execution
