Planning Officer


Our client, is actively seeking a Planning Officer on a contracted basis. Key Responsibilities: Managing development applications, ensuring compliance with local planning regulations and guidelines Conducting site visits to assess the potential impact of proposed developments Preparing and presenting detailed reports on planning applications and policies Providing professional advice on development management and planning matters Engaging with stakeholders, including the public, developers, and government agencies Facilitating public meetings and consultations regarding planning proposals Ensuring efficient and effective processing of planning applications Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of planning activities and decisions Job Requirements: Experience in development management within the planning sector Strong understanding of local planning regulations and policies Excellent report writing and presentation skills Ability to conduct thorough site visits and assessments Effective communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time management abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in town planning or a related discipline Benefits: Contract position for 3-6 months Chance to gain experience in development management and planning Collaborative work environment with various stakeholders Flexible working hours with a 35-hour workweek If you are an experienced Planning Officer looking for a contract opportunity to advance your career in the planning sector, our client would love to hear from you.
