Lead/Principal Platform/DevOps Engineer - Terraform, GitHub Actions, AWS, Atlassian Stack

Contract | Inside IR35 | 6 months (1 Day/Week) | Hybrid (London) | Immediate Start | Rate Negotiable

A leading enterprise organisation is seeking a Lead/Principal Platform/DevOps Engineer to join a high-impact, long-term transformation programme. Operating in a product-based delivery model, the engagement is forecast to run for up to two years.

Role Overview:

• Contract Length: 6 months (initial), 1 day per week
• IR35: Inside
• Location: Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite in London , 4 days remote
• Start Date: Immediate
• Rate: Negotiable, based on experience

This is a senior-level position. You must have:

• 3+ years of experience in a Lead or Principal DevOps/Platform role
• A track record of delivering within large-scale programmes in enterprise environments
• The ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on

Essential Skills:

• Terraform - deep hands-on experience is mandatory
• AWS - strong knowledge of infrastructure and cloud services
• GitHub Actions - expertise in CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance
• Atlassian stack - solid experience with Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence; previous work with internal developer platforms (IDPs) preferred
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
