Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Kingsbury (Brent)

A fantastic secondary school in Kingsbury (Brent) is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2025 . This is a full-time role (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday) , offering hands-on experience supporting students and teachers in a dynamic and welcoming environment.

About the Role

• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
• Providing one-to-one or small group support to students
• Helping with classroom management and lesson preparation
• Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) where required
• Gaining valuable insight into the teaching profession

Requirements

• A degree in any subject (Education, English, Maths, Science, or Psychology preferred)
• A passion for working with young people and helping them succeed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with children in any capacity (e.g. tutoring, coaching, youth work, voluntary or within a school)
• A friendly and approachable demeanour
• A proactive and supportive attitude
